TO LAUNCH THE NEW SEASON OF “ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK”, UBI/. ORGANIZED THE “ IN REAL LIFE ” TRANSFER OF STAR INMATES TO A CUSTOM-MADE PRISON IN PARIS
The scene took place on Boulevard Hausmann in Paris, to accompany the release of season 2 of the Netflix event series: the 360m² façade of a building was transformed into a vertical prison with 12 life-size cells. In the heart of Paris, we reproduced the Litchfield penitentiary district, where the action of “Orange Is The New Black” takes place. In this setting, twelve of the actresses from the series were invited to play their roles, arriving in orange outfits aboard a prison administration bus to enter their cells.
All this took place under the gaze of passers-by, many of whom are fans of the series, journalists and bloggers previously alerted via Facebook and Twitter (#OITNB).
