MOËT & CHANDON REINVENTS CHRISTMAS CHOIRS IN NEW YORK.
ubi/. is proud to have accompanied Moët & Chandon in the creation of Your Voices, an art piece by Es Devlin to celebrate the Christmas holidays.
A moving light sculpture celebrated New York as the most linguistically diverse city on the planet, where more than 700 languages are spoken.
Installed for two weeks on the Plaza at Lincoln Center, this sculpture made of 700 light filaments illustrated the more than 700 languages currently spoken in New York. It enveloped visitors in a network of light rotating north, south, east and west through a soundscape that intertwined languages from all over the city: from Algerian to Azeri, Ashanti to Zapotec, to Zulu. Multilingual choirs also performed to offer New Yorkers a unique live show during the holiday season.
